As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Matthew may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Leavell and Rosemary Leavell; his siblings, Adam, Justin, Robin and Jenn; and his children, Lacey, Dominic Roman, Mercedes and Jordan Anderson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Matthew to the Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren or to a charity close to your heart.
