Pauline Monroe Obituary
We announce the death of Pauline Monroe of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 99. Pauline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crowder and Gracie Crowder (Green); her husband Monty Monroe; her children, Paula Jeremiah and Gary Monroe; and her siblings, Chris Milligan, Betty "Jo" Nicely, Gladeline Crowder and Austin Crowder.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robin Hotella of Van Buren, Andrea Crowder of Fort Smith, Barry Jeremiah of Conway and Sean Monroe of Fort Smith; and her son-in-law Gary "Chipper" Jeremiah of Van Buren. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (4211 State Line Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
