We announce the death of Perry Lee DeWett (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Perry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Perry will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Perry’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Jean and Perry Preston; his brother Charlie; his sister-in-law Judy; and his sister Gloria Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Dewett; his daughter Emilee Flatt; his son-in-law Jake Flatt; and his pet Bart.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
