It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Barling of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Aaron F. Barling and Nell Bruner Barling; his wife Louise; and his children, Candace York (Clay) of Fort Smith, Aaron A. Barling of Fort Smith, Ben Barling (Sarah) of London, Andrew Barling of Fort Smith and Hannah Barling of Dallas.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Elijah York, Greyson Phillip York, Finn Barling, Frances Barling, Jackson Barling, Zarina Barling, Adam Barling and Alissa Barling; his great grandchild Henry Phillip Cole York; and his brothers, Glen Mark Barling of Arlington, TX and Paul Barling of Fort Smith.
