He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin West Sr. and Creamella West (Harris); his grandchildren, Tyanita and Taeshawn Medlock; his sister Shiela West; and his nephew Jerriel West.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea D. West (Patton); his children, LaQueena West, Crystal West, Raynold West Jr., Tavonta West and Raini Nola; his grandchildren, Demaris, Na'Taidra, Za'Nieyah, Rashaun, Tevan, Ariyana, Royalty and I'mani; his siblings, Marla (Pete), Stephanie, Deidra, Audrea, Lynette, Valdis, Dean, Cezelle, Kevin (Lisa) and Melvin Jr.; and his aunt Irene West. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
