We announce the death of Robert Donahue of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Great Falls, Montana, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Donahue and Wilma Juanita Donahue. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Heather) of Round Rock, TX and Melody (John Priester) of Fort Smith, AR; his sister Mary Almanza of Cedar Hill, TX; and his grandsons, Caleb, Joshua and Nathan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the West Ark Church of Christ (900 N Waldron Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72903). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations, made in memory of Bob Donahue, to Quartz Mountain Christian Camp to help replace the main hall that was destroyed in a recent fire.
