It is with sadness that the passing of Rodney Townley of Fort Smith, Arkansas is shared. Rodney, born on January 8, 1943, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Townley (Judie); and his parents, Clem Townley and Jackie Townley (Quick). He is survived by: his wife Connie Townley (Williams); his children, Christy Nicholson (Lori), Cassandra Rowan and David Townley (Megan); and his grandsons, Parker Longley (Kaira), Cade Rowan and Morgan Rowan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Bible Church (9201 Dallas St, Fort Smith, AR 72903). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations be made to Fort Smith Boys and Girls Clubs, 4905 North O St., Fort Smith, AR 72904.
