He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ferrell and Dorothy Genelle Ferrell. He is survived by: his significant other Deanna Heisler; his grandchildren, Braxton, Lillian Grace, DeannaLynn, Freya and Malakai; his sisters, Donna Dianne Ferrell (James), Callison and Susan Ruiz; his siblings' children, Brandy, Michael Calles, Bianca, Roger Sanchez, Nathan Ruiz, Zachary D. Gonzalez, Cameron and Tauna Ruiz; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan Jace Sanchez, Eli Jordan Sanchez, Dylan Ruiz, Madison Genelle Sanchez and Oaklynn Ruiz; Ramses Ford and Zachary Quick (Kaylee).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to organizations supporting addiction recovery and reentry programs, in Scott's name.
