With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Hanger of Fort Smith, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sharon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sharon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle M. Frost and Hilda Faye Frost (Pettigrew); and her grandchildren, Bendon and Ken Mullinax. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Hanger; her sons, Ken Mullinax (Amy) of Fort Smith, AR and Jimmy Frost of Dunkirk, MD; and her stepchildren, Kevin Hanger (Bonnie) of Waldorf, MD, Kelly Davis (Kenneth) of Livingston, TX, Kerry Crawford (Barry) of Jacksonville, FL and Karol Kocurek (Charles) of Orange Grove, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
