We are sad to announce that, on August 10, 2025, at the age of 90, Shirley Harwood of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Shirley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Shirley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee Cupp and Ruby Irene Cupp (Miller); her husband Lloyd Edward Harwood; and her son Barry Harwood. She is survived by: her children, Melinda Hice of Greenwood, AR, Don Harwood of Van Buren, AR and Dustin Harwood of Lavaca, AR. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
