He was predeceased by: his father James R. Young. He is survived by: his mother Iona Young (Marcum) of Fort Smith; his wife Marla; his sons, Andrew Young of Fayetteville and Benjamin Young (Josie Kate) of Tontitown; and his siblings, Donna Young of Greenwood and John Young (Kim) of Fort Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocker Putman Funeral Home (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Haven Heights Baptist Church (7701 US-271, Fort Smith, AR 72908).
