He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne; his children, Michelle Coy (Terry) of Sallisaw, OK, Stacy Richerson (Tron) of Sallisaw, OK, Cara Sonnier (J. P.) of Fort Smith, Michael McDonald (Ashley) of Spiro, OK, Cory Travis of Fort Smith and David McDonald (Emily) of Fort Smith; his father David Wayne McDonald of Palatka, FL; and his siblings, Debbie Carter (Jeff) of Palatka, FL and Christopher McDonald of Tampa, FL.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Creekmore Community Center (3301 S 66th St, Fort Smith, AR 72903).
