She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Vargas and Amelia Vargas; and her husband Andy Carson. She is survived by: her children, Lillian Dominique Carson, Andrew David Carson III, Joshua Benjamin Carson, Jacob Lance Carson and Michael Asher Carson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
