It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thell Ernest Ellison of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Trye Ellison and Mary Burdett Ellison; his daughter Wanda; his siblings, Vennia, Elvin, Ethel, Clenesa and Langford; and his grandmother Lula (Monroe).
He is survived by: his wife Margie Rose Ellison; his children, Kathy Bailey (J. C.) of Natural Dam, Norma Shults of Central City, John Ellison (Angela) of Uniontown and Ernest Ellison (Pat) of Lavaca; and his sister Mary Chaney of Texarkana, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hall Cemetery or Independence Free Will Baptist Church in Natural Dam.
