We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 77, Violet Edwina McMath of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away. In the sacred silence of farewell, Violet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Violet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Brammer and Ruby Brammer (Hale); her son Harold Brooks; and her sister Wilma Van Brunt. She is survived by: her sons, Mitchel Brooks of Fort Smith, Howard Brooks of Mulberry and Keith Brooks of Fort Smith; and her siblings, Charlotte Van Brunt of Kibler and Roger Brammer of Rudy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pope Cemetery (8524 Pope Rd, Mulberry, AR 72947).
