He was predeceased by: his parents, Gesina "Forst" Hatwig and Joe Hatwig; his son Jeffrey Hatwig; his grandson Cole Hatwig; and his siblings, Leon, Raymond Hatwig and Cecilia Gramlich of Fort Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Hatwig; his son Mark Hatwig of Fayetteville, AR; his granddaughter Jordan Stilley (Roman) of Fort Smith; and his siblings, Gene Hatwig of Fort Smith and Helen Reyburn of Fairfield Bay, AR..
