Though Jessie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jessie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Martin and Floy Daughtery Martin; his former wife Sue Harris Martin; his children, Carolyn Sue Estelle, Sheila Rochell and Richard; and his sister Jeanette Lansdale.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Herring Martin of Fountain Hill; and his children, Kevin Martin (Trenia) of Lacey, Suzette Martin Phillips of Texas, Michelle Howell (Wade) of Jefferson, AR and LouAnn McKinney (William) of South Carolina. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
