He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Jones and Mildred Jones; his siblings, JD, Sidney, Windell, James and Joyce Conyers; his former wife Georgeann Price; and his grandson Jacob Kendrick.

He is survived by: his brother Charles; his children, Richie Jones (Libby) and Tamara Cole (Donald); his wife Lila; his children, Danny Kendrick (Jennifer), Marcy Sims, Lisa Parnell (Chris) and Tammy Perry (Eric); and his grandchildren, Ellen, Alex, George, Amber, Ova, Cherry, Donald, Rachel, Christian, Rainy, Michael, Ashley, Mackenzie, Taylor, Jordan, Kayla, Trevor, Dillon and Bailey. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
