We announce the death of Carolyn Yvonne Taylor of Garfield, Arkansas, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Holloway and Maxine Burrow Holloway; her husband Harold "Buck" Taylor; her son James Allen Taylor; and her brother Loren Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Delbert Taylor (Gayla), Alona Morris (late Darrell Korbelik), Jimmy Taylor, Robbie Taylor and Sandy Allen (Billy); her siblings, Lamarise Henry and Larry Holloway (Mary); and her sisters-in-law, Denise Holloway and Barbara Jean Williams. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southside Church of Christ (919 S Dixieland Rd, Rogers, AR 72758). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
