It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Diane Nelson of Garfield, Arkansas, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Judy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Judy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eula Bell Pratt Hartgrove; her former husband Loren Neal Nelson; and her daughter Sheryl Horton. She is survived by: her father Billy Joe Hartgrove; her sons, Greg Nelson of Garfield, Mike Nelson (Amy) of Pea Ridge and Randall Nelson (Mariah) of Garfield; her fiancé Andy Husband; her son-in-law Dennis Horton; and her sisters, Janet Phillips of Garfield and JoJo Hartgrave (Hyde) of Broseley, Missouri. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sisco Funeral Home (1312 N Curtis Ave, Pea Ridge, AR 72751). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ruddick Cemetery (19316-19382 AR-127, Garfield, AR 72732).
