She was predeceased by: her parents, David Albin Watkins and Naomi Watkins (Ashley); and her niece Debbie Guschke. She is survived by: her husband Larry Shade of Garfield, AR; her stepchildren, Shannon Shade of Edmund, OK, Kenneth Shade of Las Vegas, NV and Erin Smith of Edmund, OK; her sisters, Doris Watkins of Fort Worth, TX and Nancy Potter of Edmund, OK; her siblings' children, Matthew Beene of Los Angeles, CA, Jessica Beene of Philadelphia, PA and Ashley Sneddon of Wilsonville, Oregon; and her stepdaughters, Janice Fisher McMurtrey of Oklahoma City, OK and Marguerite Keesee of Chattanooga, TN.. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lost Bridge Community Church (12772 Lodge Dr, Garfield, AR 72732). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ruddick Cemetery (19316-19382 AR-127, Garfield, AR 72732).
She was always available to assist anyone in need, actively participating in community initiatives by donating food and clothes and volunteering with schools.
