It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane Clark of Gentry, Arkansas, born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Vermillion and Laura Lynn Vermillion (Spence); her former life partner Edwin True; her husband George Clark; her daughters, Janice Elaine Smith and Debra J. Taylor; her grandsons, Tom E. Smith and R. Wayne True; her great grandchild Wyatt Jackson Sligar; and her brothers, James L. Vermillion and Lewis Vermillion.

She is survived by : her children, Marion True, Darleen Evans, Carla Beeman (John) and Rick True (Debbie) of Gentry, Arkansas; and her siblings, Joe Donald Vermillion (Donna) and Linda Abercrombie (Jerry). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.
