She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tonsing and Agnes Tonsing (Karspeck); her husband Melvin Richard Burd; her grandson Wyatt Edgar; and her brothers, Loren and Dean Tonsing.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Landreth of Little Rock, Denise Cripps of Gentry, Arkansas, Kevin Burd of Wellsville and Joel Burd (Dawn) of Berthoud, Colorado. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
