He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Denver Phipps and Norma Jean Neavear; and his sister Sandy Stone. He is survived by: his wife Anna Christine Phipps of Gentry, Arkansas; his sons, Phillip Phipps Jr. of Houston, Robert Phipps of Houston, Curtis Phipps of Lubbock, Jeremy Phipps, Gary Phipps of Colorado and Gregory Phipps of Gentry, Arkansas; and his siblings, Van Phipps of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Eva Parkman of Southwest City, Missouri.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
