He was predeceased by : his parents, John Holzhauer and Elfrieda Holzhauer. He is survived by : his significant other Margie Young Holzhauer; his children, Jody Holzhauer (Lynn) of Gillett, Donna Slay (Danny) of Conway, Gayle Womack (Randy) of Gillett, Sheila Dodson (Mike) of Gillett and Nancy Whiting (Sammy) of Gillett; his grandchildren, Blake Holzhauer, Erin Simon, Dustin, Drew, Nathan Slay, Ryan Womack, Jordan Gardner, Bryce Dodson, Mallory Sweetin, Austin and Barrett Whiting; and his brother Carroll Holzhauer (Doris) of Little Rock.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Essex Funeral Home (1405 S Grandview Dr, DeWitt, AR 72042). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (206 W Rose Ave, Gillett, AR 72055). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at the Gillett Cemetery.
