She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Cameron and Margie Joiner Cameron; her husband Lynn F. Wheatley; her children, Jack Wheatley, Lynetta Spence and Dorothy McCuan; her grandsons, Jay Osburn, Bobby Whiteside and Michael McCuan; and her siblings, Ora Lee Borden and Frank Cameron.

She is survived by: her daughter Margie Herman of Texas; her caregiver Melissa Wood; her grandchildren, Samantha Stokes, Scott Noblett and Joe McCuan; and her siblings-in-law, Tommy Wheatley and Diane Cameron-Davis.
