He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Hargis and Anna Bell Lichlyter Hargis; and his brother Edward Sanford. He is survived by: his daughter Cammy Harding; his son-in-law Robert Harding, Jr.; his son Gary Hargis, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jessa Hargis; his grandchildren, Caitlin Harding and Sean Harding; and his great grandchild Amelia Harding of De Queen.
