With sadness, we share the passing of Billy Conn Kersey of Glenwood, Arkansas. Billy, born on March 23, 1942, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kersey and Lida Coffman Kersey; his siblings, Monravia Henson, Carl Kersey Jr. of Coy Freda, Bell, J. D. Kersey, C. Kersey, Curtis Kersey, Kirby Kersey, Boyd Kersey, Quilla White and Harold Kersey; his grandson Matthew Kersey; and his great grandchild Calek Kersey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Kersey; his children, Tim (Sandra Kersey) and Chris Kersey; his grandchildren, Alisha Kersey, Reed Kersey, Trivett Nettles, Chase Kersey, Erika, Mac Carrel, Cade Kersey, Colton Kersey and Joshua Copeland; and his great grandchildren, Axel Kersey, Addyson, Alec Moss and Karly Wilt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943).
In lieu of flowers the family requests for donations to be made to Kirby School for the Billy Kersey Vocational Scholarship.
