We announce the death of Bruce Lynn McConnell of Gould, Arkansas, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 72. Bruce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McConnell and Ellen McConnell; and his siblings, Keith McConnell and Peggy Corker. He is survived by: his wife Bunny McConnell of Gould; his children, Robert McConnell of Dumas and Maredith "George" Garner of McGehee; his sisters, Linda Forrest of Tyro and Cathy McConnell of Gould; and his pet Bowie. He is also survived by grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
