Tracy Lewayne Tillman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tracy Tillman of Gould, Arkansas, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 46.

Tracy Lewayne Tillman of Gould, Arkansas passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 46. He was born to Betty (Goff) Tillman and Fred Tillman on September 28, 1974 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Tracy accepted Christ at a young age as a member of the Rankin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Gould, Arkansas. He graduated from Grady High School in 1993 and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. As an adult, he became a member of the Old St. James Missionary Baptist Church of Pine Bluff, Arkansas where he remained a member until his passing. Tracy’s love for God was evidenced in the way that he lived his life and mentored youth in his assembly and in his family.

He loved sharing the message of creating general wealth as a Life Agent and member of the “Strike Nation” team and team leader of “Team Epic” where he found a family among many. He loved hunting, playing against family and friends in an Xbox game or game of basketball. You could often find him cheering on his favorite team, “The Sixers.” Tracy was a family man and loved spending time with or getting to know better family and friends and had a knack for bringing long lost members of the family together. Tracy loved his nieces and nephews and earned the title of “favorite uncle” to many. Most of all, Tracy loved being a father to his two daughters. It was not unusual for him to spend hours on the phone with them daily-- talking or playing pretend.

Tracy loved well and was the “Right Hand Man” to his three siblings and to many other family members and friends, a faithful son to his parents, and friend to many.

Tracy was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Ira and Willie Mae Tillman and Maternal Grandparents, Isom and Bearnice Goff.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Margeaux Tillman of Memphis, TN and Olivia Tillman of Albany, NY; parents, Fred and Betty Tillman of Gould, Arkansas; three sisters Roslyn Tillman of Bryant, Arkansas, Demertrice Okafor (Anthony) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Rachel Tillman-Antwine (Derrick) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and a host of family and friends. Most importantly of all, he leaves behind a legacy of Love.

We'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your expression of love, kind words and support at this very difficult time.
