He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Fite and Getrude Fite; and his siblings, Curlee Harris (Earle Lee Holmes) and Odessa Hegwood. He is survived by: his sons, Gerry Harris, Sr. (Tawanda Harris) and Arthur Harris, Sr. (LaTanya Harris); and his sister Zora T. Johnson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
