He was predeceased by: his parent Othello Taylor (Rice); his son Henry Shelby Taylor; his father Benjamin Shelby Taylor (Bence); his brother Terry Taylor; his nephews, Robert Crosley, Jr., Pat Collins, Roger, Greg and Barry Snelson; his niece Joylin White; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Crosley, Harold Collins, Howard Collins, John Collins, Tom High, Freddie, Gerald Snelson and Ruby Snelson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Taylor; and his sisters, Shirley Hancock (Paul), Wilma Finney (George) and Loretta Cheshire (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel (102 Cherry St, Green Forest, AR 72638). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
