She was predeceased by: her parents, Ova Mae Newberry Smith and Ray Smith Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Melody, Michael and Melita; her husband Roger; her brother Cecil Smith of Illinois; her children, Todd Samuel (Penni) of Maryland, Alicia Kay Gardner (John) of Oklahoma and Tory Daniel (Beena) of Missouri; her grandchildren, Donovan McMahan (Danni), Candice McMahan, Megan Rowe (Andrew), Andrew Gardner (Sydney), Chloe Gardner, Brady Gardner (Ella) and Cyrus McMahan; and her great grandchildren, Emersyn McMahan, Riley Rowe, Ezekiel McMahan and Parker Rowe.
