Don McAlister Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don McAlister of Green Forest, Arkansas, who passed away on May 26, 2026 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don McAlister to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce McAlister and Lucille McAlister (Underdown); his wife Shirley McAlister; his siblings, Bob, Troy McAlister and Lucy McNair; and his brothers-in-law, Vernon Amer and Leo Davidson.

He is survived by: his children, Tony McAlister of Harrison and Heather McAlister of Harrison; his stepchildren, Terri Dickinson (Randall) of Oak Grove, Tammi McCutchen (Gary) of Harrison, Jason Davidson (Stacey) of Berryville and Kevin Meek (Chrystal) of Gainesville, MO; his siblings, Mary Armer of Harrison, Charlene Davidson of Harrison and Ronnie McAlister (Debbie) of Fayetteville; and his sisters-in-law, Madlyn McAlister of Carrollton and Roberta McAlister of Alpena. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other family and friends.
