He was predeceased by: his father William Flanery (Martha Flanery); his daughter Carrie Cartwright Cooper; and his siblings, Fonza Flanery, Billy Joe Flanery, Jerry Flanery Cartwright, William Glenn Flanery Jackson, Patricia George, Betty Parnell and Margaret Reeder.
He is survived by: his spouse Avonell; his grandson Daniel Cooper; his great grandchild Jeremiah Cooper of Caddo Valley, Arkansas; his sister Charlotte Edwards (Larry) of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and his brothers-in-law, Argie Carpenter and Jess Carpenter (Minni). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Eye First Baptist Church (9546 AR-103, Green Forest, AR 72638). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
