He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Elsie June Battenfield (Morris); his sister Virginia Ruth Paul of Harrison; his former wife Gale Battenfield (Bailey) of Alpena; his children, Cindy Johnson (Battenfield) of Berryville and Jeffrey Luther Battenfield of Alpena; his grandchildren, Emily Squires (Tyler) of Berryville, Jeremiah Johnson of Berryville, Taylor Battenfield of Fayetteville, AR, Jacob Johnson of Clarksville and Madison Battenfield of Fayetteville; his great grandchild Elsie Mae Squires; and his brother-in-law Harold Paul of Harrison.
