She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Barker and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzy" Covington Barker; her husband Donald Ray Banister; her son Donald Wayne Banister; her siblings, Sharon Kay Harris, Jewell Barker, Glen Dale Barker and Wyndell Barker; and her niece Susie Kay Smith.
She is survived by: her son Billy Banister; her brothers, James Barker and Lynn Barker; and her niece Etha Hammett. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and other nieces and nephews.
