With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anavurl Garrett Karber (Greenbrier, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Eli Sams and Iola Sams; her husbands, Douglas Garrett and Carl Karber; her children, Rue Garrett and Dana Taylor; and her siblings, Eldon Sams, Junior Sams, Arlon Sams, Marvin Sams and Carolyn Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Tracie Garrett (Mary), Cindy Ford (Craig), Kenneth Taylor, Sandi Garrett and Jimmy Karber (Karla); her siblings, Luevern Glover and Wayne Sams; her grandchildren, Melissa Gragg (Robert), Katie Taylor, Megan Mattingly (Nathan), Morgan Taylor, Chance Garrett (Skyler), Maggie Robinson (Ivan), Randi Ford (Jimmy), Wade Ford and Christopher Karber (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Kenna Haley, Kinslee Holmes, Cade Woodard, Weston Mattingly, Crue Woodward and Tripp Jumper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilcox Family Funeral Home (108 N Broadview St, Greenbrier, AR 72058). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
