He was predeceased by: his father Alton Carmichael; his wife Dovie Jean Carmichael; his sister Ola Mae Leach; and his friend Greg Sallis. He is survived by: his daughter Staci Daily (Don); his grandchildren, Jay, Rachel, Jordan Wright and Megan Sallis Laymon (Logan); his nephews, Jackie Leach and Alan Leach (Novela); and his niece Rosanne Loyd (Billy).
