He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Wallace and Celia Wallace; his parents-in-law, Owen and Polly Tyler; his siblings, Paul Arthur and Mary King of Virginia; and his niece Cathy Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Beth; his son Steve Wallace (Joanna); his grandchildren, Michael Lee (Adrienne), Zachary Wallace (Jeslyn), Ashley Dodge (David) and Kassi Nelson; his great grandchildren, Gracie Dodge and Little David Dodge; his brother Hayward Wallace (Marilyn); and his brother-in-law Tommy Tyler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
