He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Addie Van, Leaster Merritt, Charles and Vicki Harmon; and his stepfather Tan Moss.

He is survived by: his parents, Kay Merritt Moss and Jack Harmon (Lynda); his children, Colton Merritt Harmon (Haylee), Addison Susannah Harmon and Mikayla Blysse Harmon; his grandson Judge Merritt Harmon; and his stepsiblings, Troy Moss, Steve Nickell, Shannon Earnhart, Brandy Moss and Wendy Earnhart-Heaslet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
