He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Merion and Stella Mae Halsey (Blythe). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Halsey; his daughters, Shelia Hines (Marshall) and Keri Matthews (Aaron); his grandchildren, Jacob Hines (Molly), Katie Hines, Taylor Matthews, Tristan Matthews and Torin Matthews; and his sister Eddie Carolyn Whitehead (David). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
