He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Barber and Phillip Barber; his sister Sandy Pfau; and his half-brother Brett Davidson. He is survived by: his nephews, Kendrick, Peyton Hillis and Waylon Howie; his wife Julie Kay Barber; his half-sister Courtney Hillis; his mother-in-law Tonia Worthen; and his sister-in-law Haley Scharmann. He is also survived by extended family members, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcox Family Funeral Home & Crematory (108 N Broadview St, Greenbrier, AR 72058). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Arkansas Donor Family Council, Donate Life America, or an animal shelter or rescue organization of your choice in Michael's memory.
