He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Dean and Margaret Neal; and his brother Lou Dean. He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his daughters, Whitney O'Dell (Dustin) and Marisa Berry (Michael); his grandchildren, Rilyn, MaKenlee, Emma and Jaxon; and his brother Keith Dean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
