It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilburn Maurice Langley of Greenbrier, Arkansas, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris W. Langley and Evelyn Stewart Langley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gray Langley; his daughter Lynita Langley (Philip); his grandchildren, Sophia Ware of Fayetteville, AR and Liam Ware of Greenbrier, AR; his sister Jane Havens (Leon) of Greenbrier, AR; his nieces, Kathy Gray Stewart (Andrew) of Owens, MD, Colleen Gray Hopkins (David) of Hattieville, AR, Beverly Brannan (Chris) of Greenbrier, AR and Terry Strain (Jason) of Rosebud, AR; his great-nephews, Drake Brannan of Greenbrier, AR and Devon Brannan of Greenbrier, AR; and his brother David Merritt of Greers Ferry, AR.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcox Family Funeral Home (108 N Broadview St, Greenbrier, AR 72058). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Old Texas Cemetery (137 Old Texas Rd, Quitman, AR 72131).
