He is survived by : his wife Semenika Luhrs; his children, Laurie Smith, Jenny Luhrs, Dragan Zivotic, Milan Zivotic and John Savu; his grandchildren, Allie, Lynne, Whitney, Joshua, Anna and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Butch Luhrs, Reba Luhrs and Frieda Hawkins. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
