Ray Horton Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 70, Ray Horton Jr. of Greenwood, Arkansas, born in Huntington Park, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cleta Simmons (Smith); and his stepfather Lawrence J. Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Yselda Horton; his sons, Sean Horton (Krystal) and Ryan Horton (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jacob Horton, Yabria Ford, Shiloh Horton, Madison Bare, Rayven Stuart and Aubrey Cowell; his great grandchildren, Ares Horton, Emersyn Cowell and Farrah Ford; and his siblings, Edwin Horton (Jane), Curtis Horton, Michael Simmons, Tammy Poore (Chris) and Rene Stephenson (Jeremy). He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (137 N Main St, Greenwood, AR 72936). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM.
