He is survived by: his children, Brian Murphree (Kathy) of Rose Bud, Michael Murphree (Terri) of Greers Ferry, Karen Reed (Daren) of Greers Ferry and Tammy Pettigrew of Flower Mound; his siblings, Linda Jarvis, Glen Murphree, Thomas Murphree and Cecil Murphree; and his grandchildren, Josh Murphree (Autumn), Brian N. Murphree (Carrie), Madelyn Fisher (Kaylon), Amelia Fleisher (Jim), Ethan Reed (Brianne), Kayla Shepherd (Travis) and Cody Murphree.
