He was predeceased by: his father Robert Putman; and his brother David Putman. He is survived by: his wife Paula Gooch Putman; his children, Tristan, Cory, Matthew, Adam, Madelyn Ulrich, Miranda, John and Madison Putman; and his siblings, Laurel Thomas, Ann Vaughn, Kathy Putman and John Putman. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
