With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jared Thomas Moxley of Guion, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 81. As Jared Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jared Thomas. Though Jared Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eret Moxley (Ed) and Ethel Marie Davis Moxley; and his sister Janetta MacArthur. He is survived by: his wife Alice Moxley; his children, Eret Moxley (Sharyn) of Guion, Josh Moxley of Conway and Lisa Moxley-Hancock of Melbourne; and his grandchildren, Megan Branscum (Jacob), Ryan Moxley (Cara), Braeden Hancock (Kaitlyn), Alex Hancock (Hope) and Kailee Hancock. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eddie's Family Funeral Home (79 Ball Park Dr, Melbourne, AR 72556). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
